What I Read

Reading, Site Update January 18th, 2008

No major updates. However, I did add a Library page. It pretty much keeps track of all the books I have on my shelf at home. As you can see from it, I like reading mostly graphic novels, some manga, and fantasy. George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series is a must read for fantasy fans. I’d wish he’d already and complete the next book already…

Updates N Stuff

Blog January 18th, 2008

Sorry for the lack of updates and posts. Usual excuses: too busy, not enough time, nothing interesting to post, lack of will to post something. Sorry!

Well, as you can see, if you’ve been here before, I’ve changed the theme. It’s called Fauna. I like it. And I really like the graphic design of the circles and colors. Makes me happy! :)

I hope I’ll be updating this site more. I just have to really keep on it. We shall see, huh? ;)

Hooray for Maryland!

Maryland, Money September 4th, 2007

No updates for the site as of yet. I’m working on coding a script for my education page. Hopefully I can reveal more of it later on this week.

But as a side note: Maryland is now the wealthiest state, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Hoorah! I think? Is that good? I guess if it is expensive to live here, it must mean better living conditions, right? I live in Annapolis, and while the housing market has been on a steady decline, prices for homes around here are still up there. And while some people bad mouth Baltimore, I think it has its nice parts as well as shady parts like any other big city. Although personally… I prefer Washington, D.C. ;)

Woo hoo! Us Marylanders are wealthy! “Yeah! Crabcakes and football! That’s what Maryland does!” Hehe, yeah… Wedding Crashers.

Welcome!

Blog August 27th, 2007

My name is Jay Aniceto, and you are now reading my personal blog (which, according to dictionary.com means: an online diary; a personal chronological log of thoughts published on a Web page). I mean to use this web site as a means of advertising myself, a way to demonstrate and put out the word of my skills and attributes.

A little about myself:

I’m a 2006 graduate of UMBC with a B.S. in Computer Science. As of this writing, I’m employed as a ‘Web Content Administrator’ for a bank in Maryland.

You can read more about me in the About page. Feel free to browse around what little there is right now… I plan on updating the site with samples of my code and projects as well as try to write some posts on anything related in the field of technology and programming. Enjoy!
