World Of Warcraft NOOB
Uncategorized August 30th, 2008
A nice weekend: Friday night out at Dave & Busters for drinks and arcade games, Saturday spent hanging out with a friend for sushi and shopping, and Sunday… Oh god, Sunday I spent all day playing World of Warcraft.
Why?! Why did I give in?! My cousin and her husband have been playing it and somehow I just decided to go ahead and give it a try. I got a free 10-day trial account, but damn… this game is addictive. Already I recall my days of playing City of Heroes… hours and hours playing non-stop, leveling up my character, completing quests, and immersing myself in a whole virtual world. Minutes of gameplay stretched out to hours as I tell myself that this is the last quest I’ll complete, the last enemy I’ll exterminate, the last level up. It’s never the last.
And I haven’t even bought the full game yet.
Should I?

I’m level 18 now. I like the game. I play it a lot. However, I am not at the point where everything else in my life halts so that I can battle monsters, explore dungeons, seek rare equipment, and hoard gold. That’s a good sign, right?
My 10-day trial is going to end soon. I think I’ll buy it. Try it out for a month. I can quit anytime, right? Ugh, just saying those words makes it already sound like an addiction.
Whatever. I’ll just have fun with it.

Redskins Tickets
Personal, Uncategorized June 8th, 2006
Okay I’m going to start and try to get people to go to the Ravens Vs Redskins game on Aug 31. Ticket prices are way better than the Cowboys vs Redskins game obviously, so hopefully I can get a big enough group and we can tailgate and party like crazy. I mean come on… Battle of the Beltway!
