Shake Hands With A Firm Grip and Make Direct Eye Contact

Oh geez, I am exhausted. I am beat. I didn’t think I was going to be this tired afterwards, but damn! It’s been about four hours since I got back and I am still a little sore.
Today was UMBC’s Career Fair. It was brutal, but I think my overall experience was positive. And I only say brutal in that there was a lot to see and do—I didn’t think it was gong to be that intense.
Ionburn Reloaded!

It took me a couple weeks, and a hell of a lot of headache to get it to display on multiple browsers, but I got the site up! Woot! After I moved to my new host, I wanted to redo the whole site over to not only give it a new look, but to also prevent it from being exploited by those damn spammers. They had found a “hole” in my code that they exploited to send spam through my previous host’s servers, and that was a big no-no. They had to terminate my service, but I’m cool with it. I understand where they’re coming from. Overall they had given me superior service. The new host, though, has been awesome, if not a little bit more so… more space, more services… more stuff! I pretty much redid all the sections. There’s new stuff in my About page: namely a section with my resume and one with my classes that I took at UMBC.
I installed a pre-made picture gallery script. It’s way more robust than the one that I had made up. I added a crap load of pics. Give em a browse.
In the news that is my life, the past month and a half has been a bit crazy. I finished up all my classes at UMBC. Now I work full time at where I had my internship. Nice benefits in addition to my much beloved salary. I moved back to Annapolis with my family. I’m starting to look around Annapolis for a house as soon as I get some savings. I’m aiming to have a house by January at the latest. This past weekend my car got hosed as soon as I arrived in Delware to help my cousin move. It’s at the mechanics now after it got towed back to Maryland, and it looks like it had a leak in its transmission… I hope it’s not too serious and I can keep it. I love my car! Everyone at Delaware kept telling me to get a new one, but I’m trying to keep mine…
For those who don’t know: I gave up and finally got a damn MySpace account. Fuck. I couldn’t help it. There’s a lot of good bands and musicians on there! I have family and friends on there too, so it’s nice to keep in touch with them.
Also this past weekend I went to the Baltimore Comicon. Wasn’t as fun as the past ones, but it might be because I went on Sunday rather than Saturday. I didn’t get any sketches since many artists were already full with work, but I got a nice load of prints… It’s a good thing pay day is coming up, some of these prints and sketchbooks are getting expensive!
That’s all I can think to write up right now. I gots the work in the morning, so I should get to bed. No more late night binge drinking for this guy! Jk!

It’s me birthday today! Yippie! I am now 22 years old… geez time flies by. Doin something tomorrow evening to celebrate. In the meantime, I should be working on my AMST 320 paper and studying for the PHYS 122 final… bleh.
For those who care, I’ve redone the pictures section. I’ve made use of my databases this time to give the thing some sort of organization. I coded the whole thing myself in php. I’ve added a whole bunch of pics in there, so go ahead and take a gander.
That’s pretty much it.
