Sorry about that.

You know the usual excuses: work, life, laziness, etc… I’ve been more dedicated to microblogging; posting on my tumblr and twitter. Also, my readership has increased by like 2… and they’re from work. And that makes me a bit more wary about the personal stuff I post online, even though they’re pretty cool about most things.

So updates: work has been awesome, joined a softball team in the spring, had a fun summer, had an AWESOME birthday, and most recently been starting to go to movie screenings. I also met a girl… but I don’t think it’d be appropriate to blog about that right now.

I decided to finally update the site theme as well as make this post. I’ve been really lazy about updating this site, and my friend really berates me for it. So here you go: one new blog entry!

I have some draft posts actually with only one or two really interesting ones. I’ll try to post and write more, especially with what’s going on in my life. Until then, thanks for sticking around!

I had meant to, but I kept putting it off. Excuses, excuses. Blah blah blah.

Now, I could promise that I’ll be updating again more often, but I can’t since I don’t really have much to post about. I’m still on the job hunt in Chicago. Not much else.

At least I can give you all a new theme. Woo hoo.

And even though I didn’t post much, I did microblog like crazy. Maybe that’s what it’s come down to now… it’s all a series of microposts. Do I just not have anything to contribute anymore?

Yeah, I do. Here’s hoping I can get back to the routine again.

Ionburn had been dormant for a long time, but I had been working on it for a while. It’s now updated. When you first go, it may look the same, but hang around for a minute and then you should notice something. There were more features than what’s there now, but I’m still working the bugs out. I made that one from scratch so I hope you like it.

JayNCoke got a total makeover as well. I made that one myself; and I’m really proud of it. I really want the site to be a sort of online portfolio more than a blog. I had to incorporate some nifty javascript fade effects as well as some full-on AJAX navigation. Also on the home page I created a sort of “lifestream” to pull my various web activity and put it in one place. There are several sites that do this to varying degrees, but I thought it’d be a cool project to do on my own.

So that’s it for now. Like I said before, I got some posts in the works as well. Hopefully I can keep my promise and update regularly now. If not, someone please remind me with a nice kick-in-the-butt.

And how about that new President, hm? Seriously, that’s HISTORY right there.

So keep in mind that the larger the word, the more frequently I had used it in my posts. And the great thing about using Wordle than most other word cloud generators is the way it makes it. Pretty much putting it in more color/font formatted layout. And the random placement of the words kind of makes it more hilarious, if not eerily coincidental, like “damn site”, “school hell”, and *cough* “coming ass”.

Well, as you can see, if you’ve been here before, I’ve changed the theme. It’s called Fauna. I like it. And I really like the graphic design of the circles and colors. Makes me happy!

I hope I’ll be updating this site more. I just have to really keep on it. We shall see, huh?

I’m a 2006 graduate of UMBC with a B.S. in Computer Science. As of this writing, I’m employed as a ‘Web Content Administrator’ for a bank in Maryland.

1. FRIDGE!!!! We need that small fridge that’s in the basement. My Mountain Dew ain’t cold, and I am grumpy cuz of it. >:P
2. My gaming chair. Get that chair that’s in my room. You know the one that Tita Rosie gave to me? I NEED IT! We’re playing video games, and I need it to totally whoop everyone’s arse.
3. Get that red pillow thingy too. The one that’s right behind the chair. I needs that for me bed.
4. I have a CD case there I left. It has my computer software in it. It’s the red one. It should be somewhere on the floor near the desk.
5. I think I left my new CD’s that I just got from Best Buy. The new Linkin Park one and the other one… I fergit.
6. Can you grab my cards? They’re on the desk. Those comic book cards. And the ones in my closet. They’re in the small drawer thingy next to my comics.
7. Can you bring my stereo, too? I’d like the one from my room, but I could also use the one that used to be in the computer room. Mom took it out, so I don’t know where it is now.
8. I need another power strip. Just grab the one that’s like under my desk.
9. Can you get my shelf? The white one next to my tv, with all my mags and my stereo on it? I REALLY NEED THAT. Just put all the mags on the floor there. Bring the stereo too if you could.

Oh yeah, one more thing. I got my webcam set up right over there —> It’s right here in my dorm room. So you could check on me whenever… you stalker!!!! Hehe… Just refresh on your own to see anything new.
