“I’m always dreaming of something bigger. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t achieve your dream. Don’t let them say, ‘Why are you wasting your time? You’ll never be able to do that.’ If I didn’t dream, I wouldn’t have gotten the things I’ve got and done the things I’ve done.”
I’m paraphrasing here, but that’s the advice I got over the weekend on the way home from a trip to Miami Beach. He told me that there have been people who told him that he couldn’t do what he has already done. And it makes sense… how can you achieve bigger and better things if you don’t first dream of them? Without a dream, you’re accepting that what you have is all that you can get or deserve. But you can always go for more. You should go for more.
I’m taking that advice to heart. There’s so much in life that I wish I could have or do. I shouldn’t think it’s impossible to accomplish my ambitions, because that would only discourage me. And I want to share that advice with you guys… because you should always dream, too. Don’t let anyone ever tell you it’s nothing more than an unattainable fantasy. Just let yourself imagine whatever you wish and go for it!

but what if your main enemy at shooting down your dreams is that practical half of yourself?
